White Self-Rising Cornmeal is a complete mix that includes leavening and salt; simply add eggs, melted shortening and buttermilk per the included recipe to make quick, delicious cornbread!

The Best Cornbread!

The self-rising white cornmeal from the Old Mill makes the best cornbread ever! My grandfather had a grist mill and I grew up on meal like that from the Old Mill--it makes hearty, flavorful corn muffins--my family loves it. We find, as well, that--for us, at least--it is more blood sugar friendly than corn meal mix from the store.
