A sweet spread steeped in tradition. More than 50 years ago, potters Doug and Ruth Ferguson planted muscadine grapevines behind the home and studio they built—what is now the Pottery House Café and Pigeon River Pottery. Those vines still thrive today, producing the golden-fleshed grapes that inspired this jelly.
Known as the king of grapes, muscadines have a bold sweetness with a hint of tang—perfect for slathering on biscuits, toast, or anything that could use a little taste of the South.
