Crispy Hushpuppy Mix

I first purchased this for making hushpuppies by the recipe and they were delicious. Since we have had a bumper crop of okra from our garden, I decided to use the Crispy Hushpuppy Mix as breading for my fried okra. It was absolutely the best fried okra I have ever made. This has become one of my favorite The Old Mill products.

It was ok but it would be much better with additional flour in it. I added 25% flour to it and it was better to me. Just my opinion.

I haven’t tried it yet but it smells delicious
