My last order was 4 of the 5lb bags. There were tiny worms & 2 other type tiny bugs in the cornmeal & the bags weighed 4.1lbs. Did not return due to didn’t want to send worms & bugs back.
I have been ordering for years & this is my only bad experience which is the reason for 5 stars. I am going to try another order hoping my bad experience was an isolated incident.
Self Rising Yellow Cornmeal

What a wonderful Company customer service wise. I kept messing up ordering the Yellow Corn Flower when I needed the White Self Rising Corn Flower. I emailed them and they helped me out. In Phoenix there was low quality then that even disappeared. My mother asked me to find a good corn white self rising corn flower so I found The Old Mill, and showed it to her as she is almost 79 years old and said that is where Dolly is from and I was like yes Mom, She loves Dolly as I do too, and she was born and raised in Madisonville Kentucky. We received the product..... It is THE BEST!!!!! we are so happy and my Mother taught me how to make it with no butter, or oil..... USE BACON GREASE,,,, OMG the best, not grainy very smooth,,, My Mom says this is the best she has ever used and the corn bread is a perfect 10!!!! forget that even better. If you love true cornbread order from The Old Mill as there is no other that is so fine and perfect. Thank you The Old Mill,,,,, Worth Every Penny.....
