Our handcrafted take on the House Of The Fairies, an old springhouse found in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which was part of a grand estate that was donated in 1933 to be part of the park, recalls the green of the moss-covered walls and its mushroom-shaped arched top,
Just a short trek into the park, hikers come across stone steps leading to the House Of The Fairies near the Twin Creeks trail, which is a family-friendly trail 1.9 miles long. These creeks, that flow from Mount LeConte, once fed the springhouse.
