With the flavor of just-picked ripe blackberries, this fruit syrup is a kiss of summer. Cooked slowly in open kettles, then combined with other natural ingreadients make this a delectable fruit syrup. Drizzle it on fruit salads, lemon sorbet, slices of cantaloupe and honeydew. Make flavored butter for pancakes, waffles, and biscuits by stirring a little into softened butter, then top with more syrup and frozen, thawed berries. Delicious on chilled desserts as well.
