Stone Ground Yellow Grits

Stone Ground Yellow Grits

$5.99

A piping hot bowl of delicious, creamy grits is a Southern breakfast essential. If you’ve enjoyed breakfast at our award-winning Old Mill Restaurant, you know what we mean! We still grind our corn on granite stones that are powered by the flow of the Little Pigeon River, just the way it was done in 1830. It’s the key to the wonderful flavor and texture of our famous grits.

Available 2 lb. and 5 lb. bags.

We apologize but our 25-pound bags are currently unavailable online.

These are the best

I always used quick grits even when I had a bag of these on the shelf. One morning I was out of the quickies so decided what the heck it's all I got. The only thing I hate is I didn't try them sooner. Quick grits aren't welcome here anymore. There's literally none left when I make a large pot for everybody. If there are any left they fight over who gets to take them to work the next day.

Best grits

I had the pleasure of going into the Old Mill Inn while in Tennessee. Their advertisement said they had the best grits. They were not kidding. Best grits I have ever had. I will continue to order grits from the Old Mill Inn

Miss My Grits!

One Sunday morning I had dreamed all night of having my yellow grits in the morning. Imagine my disappointment when I went to the cupboard for my yellow grits and the cupboard was bare, that just wasn't fair, it knows I throw fits for missing yellow grits.

Nothing brings out the poet in me like yellow grits, biscuits, butter and preserves.
