My granddaughter made her first buttermilk biscuits with your dried buttermilk. They turned out fantastic.
It has been such a surprise to be able to have buttermilk any time I need. Best of all I can now add buttermilk to my popcorn meal cornbread. I am an old Southern cook and we have cornbread all year round. Of course I had to introduced to my daughter. The Old Mill has become my partner and friend in a little Happiness,
I have only gotten my order a few days ago and have only gotten to try the Wild Huckleberry Jam and I have got to say for never having tried Huckleberry anything, It is great. I can't wait to try the items from the rest of my order but hope to soon.
Dried Buttermilk… I have used this 3 times now and it is perfect to have on hand for anything that calls for milk. I’ve used it in mashed potatoes, cornbread and scones. Shelf live is 1 year how great is that!?
When I received my order old fashioned pepper gravy had been substituted for the dried buttermilk. I informed customer service on October 19 that my order was wrong. They responded on October 21 they would be sending me the dried buttermilk. This is November 3 and I still have not received it nor have I heard back from customer service. I love the Old Mill but very disappointed with customer service.
